Attorney Benson Hsu was accepted to The National Cheng Chi University (One of the most prestige school in Law study). He was the first person in Taiwan history to graduate and passed the National Bar Exam in the third year in college. To continue pursuing law, he decided to participate in the National judicial training after leaving the military. Upon completing the training he got the position as a District Attorney for Taiwan Taipei District Court. Later, he was promoted to a judge position at Kaohsiung District Court. Attorney Hsu resigned from the judge position years later and established the law offices of Shi-Pin Hsu in 1976. With over 37 years of legal related experiences. Attorney Hsu led a crew of experienced lawyers dedicated in providing the best legal services. Benson Law Firm was officially established in 2006. It specializes in providing all-around legal consulting services to major domestic and international business trades and investments.

Attorney Benson Hsu was elected to be the Director of the Taipei Bar Associations in 1994. There were great numbers of Taiwanese businessmen gradually moving and investing in to mainland China. Because of the differences on how the judicial system works between Taiwan and China, many of them encountered problems and get treated unfairly. Attorney Hsu felt that equal rights and fair treatments of Taiwanese businessmen should be protected. He organized a visiting mission amount the greatest lawyers from Taiwan. The trip includes meeting with lawyers, judges and highest judicial officials of Beijing, Shanghai and Okinawa. The visit ended successfully and set a solid foundation for lawyers from Taiwan to practice law overseas.
